The Government of the Russian Federation recognized the optimization of health care to be unsuccessful

The Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian government Tatyana Golikova, who oversees social reforms in the government, admitted that the optimization of healthcare in many regions was "carried out unsuccessfully." Golikov made the corresponding statement on the TV channel "Russia 1".

First Deputy Prime Minister Anton Siluanov admitted that medical institutions in the country are "in terrible condition."

Health reform was announced in 2010. Its main goal was to optimize expenses due to the closure of ineffective hospitals and the construction of high -tech medical centers. As a result, the number of hospitals in Russia has reduced by half, in many regions residents complain about the lack of medical institutions and qualified doctors, and doctors complain of low salaries and processing.

Nevertheless, at the end of October, the Ministry of Health announced a new reduction in the number of doctors in 54 regions of Russia, and Vladimir Putin proposed compiling medical specialists from students.
