Otkritie Bank launched MirPay service

Otkritie Bank launched Mir Pay contactless payment service. Holders of any cards based on the Mir payment system can use it.

Contactless payment is available for NFC-enabled Android mobile devices starting from version 6.0. To connect the payment service, you need to download the MirPay application from the PlayMarket store and register your Mir card in it.

To pay for the purchase, it is enough to unlock the smartphone and bring it to the POS-terminal. Mir card details are not stored in the smartphone and are never disclosed when making payments. Instead of a real card number, a specially generated digital code is used - a token.
