Ruslan Popov disappeared on November 2. As his friends told reporters, in the evening on Saturday, the young man decided to walk from the suburbs of Bataisk to Novocherkassk on foot and went along the highway in the direction of Rostov. Having learned the next day that Ruslan did not come home, the comrades began to look for him and partially established the picture of what happened. They immediately suggested that Ruslan was gone on the highway.

“In a dark, unlit place we found on the side of its sneakers, a brake trace of the car and traces of drawing with traces of blood,” a friend of the deceased Valentine told reporters. - We immediately suggested that he was shot down by the car, and then he was dragged to her, loaded and taken away. All hospitals and morgues in the district called out, but they did not find any information about Ruslan.

Young people began an independent investigation. In place of the proposed accident, they found fragments of a blue car. Having studied the records of video surveillance cameras from the nearest gas stations, the volunteers installed the machine number that could be involved in the accident. They turned to users of social networks for help and soon discovered near an unfinished house in the Michurinets-3 horticultural partnership under the Mercedes Azovaya with characteristic damage to the right front part.

So it became known that a local district police officer, Major of the police, Roman L., also managed to manage a suspicious “Mercedes” in the house.

Relatives of the deceased say that in the police, despite the evidence collected, they were refused in search of the missing Ruslan.

Instead, a police guard appeared near the damaged car and the house where it stood, and the car itself was soon loaded into the tow truck and taken away.

The body of Ruslan was found on Tuesday, November 5, in a forest belt near the Farm of the Zeleny Azov district, on the river bank a few hundred meters from the alleged place of accident.

The Investigative Committee confirmed: the major shot down a pedestrian. “Police officers found that an employee of the Azovsky Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia was shot down by a citizen and disappeared from the scene of an accident,” said Galina Gagalaeva, an official representative of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of the Rostov Region.

In the police headquarters, they insist that they did not know anything about the death accident with the participation of their employee. “He did not notify the management about the incident and left on a business trip.
