In St. Petersburg, during a demonstration in honor of the anniversary of the October Revolution, eight people were detained, including deputy of the legislative assembly Olga Khodunova, Oleg Karabut and Yegor Mrazov. This was announced to OVD-Info by an activist of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, who asked not to be named.
According to him, the protesters were heading towards the cruiser Avrora, but they were detained at the intersection of Petrovskaya Embankment and Michurinskaya Street. The flags of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation and the Left Front served as the reason for the detentions.
