The Elista city court fined Maxim Tsedenov 3,000 rubles for participating in a rally against the former head of the DPR, Dmitry Trapeznikov, who was appointed mayor of the city. about this with reference to journalist Badma Byurchiev. writes MBKh Media

Tsedenov was found guilty under the article on violation of the rules of the action (part 5 of article 20 of the Code of Administrative Offenses), he was sentenced to a lower punishment. Tsedenov intends to appeal the court's decision, as he works as a journalist and does not consider his presence at the rally to be participation in it.

Earlier, the Elista City Court acquitted two protesters due to the lack of corpus delicti. The head of the regional branch of the Yabloko party, Batyr Boromangnaev, was assigned 25 hours of compulsory work, and the journalist Badme Byurchiev, allegedly for organizing an uncoordinated event (part 2 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses), was fined 20,000 rubles .
