Pskov: The ex-deputy was called to the prosecutor's office because of the post with Nazi symbols

The former deputy of the Ostrovsky District Assembly and a public assistant to the children's ombudsman in the Pskov region, Alexander Mikhailov, said that he was called to the prosecutor’s office due to the publication in 2015 in social networks of photography with Nazi symbols.

Mikhailov should give explanations in the prosecutor's office on November 14. The former deputy wrote that the application was submitted by the representative of the Yabloko party Roman Ladyshchenko.

He confirmed this information and explained why he did it. According to him, in the post there was a picture with the flag of the National Socialist German Working Party.

“This flag in the central part has a symbol, swastika. In addition, the photo shows people with their hands raised, showing a“ Nazi greeting, ”Ladyshchenko wrote.

Mikhailov suggests that he can face an administrative fine or criminal case. According to him, in the post he condemned National Chauvinism.

“I am aware that in the event of a conviction (albeit administrative order), I will have to leave the public position of the assistant to the Ombudsman of the Pskov region to protect the rights of entrepreneurs in the Ostrovsky district, the Political Steam of the United Russia party and terminate membership in the EP,” he said.

Ladyshchenko claims that the partisanship of Mikhailov does not apply to business. Both stated that they were negative about fascism.
