In the Pskov region, the Ministry of Internal Affairs will check a video in which the head of the Pechora district, Dmitry Sopotov, insults the police who stopped the car in which the official was traveling, Pskovskaya Guberniya reports , citing the head of the department’s press service, Alexei Baranov.

The police added that the Ministry of Internal Affairs will give Sopotov’s behavior a legal assessment, and an administrative report was drawn up against the driver of the car at the scene of the incident.

on YouTube Earlier, on November 12, a video was published , the author of which claims that at the end of May, police stopped a car of the municipal enterprise “Blagoustroistvo”, in which Sopotov and the director of the enterprise, Georgiy Osipova, were traveling.

As the video description says, the employees suggested that the driver undergo a medical examination, but the head of the district did not “abandon his comrade in trouble” and began to insult the police.

He also says that today he and Osipov “received a call from Moscow” and were informed that they had won a grant for 54 million rubles. “54 million, ***** [damn]! A man drank four shots with me of ***** [damn] this whiskey. So what now? So, go home?” he says indignantly.

In response to the objections of the person filming the video, he insults him and says: “I was chosen, no one chose you, ***** [damn]. Do you understand, you, ***** [damn], six, ***** [damn]? “Pskov Province” writes that Sopotov told this to a patrol officer.

The newspaper also appealed to the general council of the United Russia party with a request to evaluate the actions of the head of the district.
