30-degree frosts go to Western Siberia

Forecasters predict abnormal cold in Russia. Already in the coming days in Western Siberia, the thermometer can drop to -30, and in the eastern one -and to -40.

An Arctic anticyclone is sent from the Arctic to Central Siberia, which will bring abnormally cold weather to the Ural region and Siberia, Lyudmila Parshina, head of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center, told Rossiy Gazeta.

The cooling will begin on November 14th. From Omsk to the foothills of Altai at night, the temperature will decrease to -30 degrees and below. In the north of the Irkutsk region at night up to - 40 degrees.

It should be noted that, according to the West Siberian Hydrometeorological Center, on November 14, in the Novosibirsk Region, the day will be -10 ... -15, in places up to -20, and November 15 -15 ... -20, in places up to -27.
