The minimum version of the device operates at the Intel Core i7 processor with a frequency of up to 2.6 GHz (up to 4.6 GHz in Turbo Boost mode), RAM up to 64 GB with a frequency of 2666 MHz, as well as SSD up to 8 TB and a capacity of 100 W ∙ h.

The MacBook PRO has a graphic AMD Radeon Pro 5000M graphic processor, created using 7 Nm technology. The device also received an updated cooling system with a heat surface, which has become 35% more.

The laptop received a new keyboard with an improved “scissors” mechanism and 1 mm keys, which was processed after numerous complaints from buyers MacBook Pro. They criticized defects in the second -generation butterfly keyboard and the inability to replace it without a block with batteries and display. The keyboard also added the Escape button to the left of the Touch Bar panel and the Touch ID button to the right of the panel.
