The Penza Regional Court looks like a paradise compared to what we saw on Moscow processes. Good -hearted judges do not dig on anyone, they give everyone to speak out. Well, almost. The prosecutor is more and more silent. The bailiffs are polite. You look - and it seems that it's okay. It will be scary when the sentence is announced by seven in the Aquarium: the deadlines are up to life. And so everything is really good.

The case of the "network", which the FSB declared a terrorist community and banned in the Russian Federation, is key. Two years ago, the persecution of anarchists throughout the country began, an explosion in the Arkhangelsk FSB was associated with it, the Ponomarevsky movement “For Human Rights” was closed to support the “network” and “new greatness”. And finally, it was in connection with the “network” for the first time that the topic of torture in the special services began to be discussed for the first time. It’s not that they had not been tortured before, but it was possible to do it quietly. And here - a scandal for the whole world. Someone even said that

The main attack and undermining the constitutional foundations is now taking place in court, where the word “torture” sounds thirty times in the meeting.

But if you open the Penza news, the feeling that there is no scandal. They write about anything, but not about the "network". Penzenets beat an ambulance. The trucker arranged a triple accident. A teenager lured a bank card from a 58-year-old friend. Meanwhile, the “network” is the same brand of Penza as Lermontov and Yegor Creed. The case is Penza, no Kremlin, no Lubyanka gave the order to pursue the anarchists and fabricate the case. All themselves, by local forces.

In the spring of 2016, the Penza Department of the Federal Security Service was headed by Colonel Sergei Nikolaevich Sizov. After a year and a half, the case of the "network" began. And in May of this year, Sizov, already with the rank of general, became the head of the FSB of the Chelyabinsk region. That is, he received an increase.

It can be assumed that General Sizov is the only beneficiary of this case, except for him, no one needs it. Probably because the judges behave so relaxed, and the prosecutor does not particularly strain.

The judicial machine works by inertia, it just needs to bring to the end the begun by the sizov. In the end, there are many other things in the city.

Penza is an amazing city. In appearance, quiet, as if extinct. Few people heard about the "network" here. Ermen from the punk group "Adaptation" told me that at a concert in Penza, listeners learned about the Penza business from him, living in Kazakhstan. He is in the know, and they heard the first time.

But silence and calm are deceiving. Everything is like adults here-the hardware struggle in the administration, and protest rallies, and the pork head, thrown by the Penza-Post-Posta portal, and Memorial, conducting the “Return of Names” campaign with the unexpected support of the authorities, and the Stalin Museum with a bust of Generalissimo by the entrance ... the carnival is in full swing.

In the same place, in the museum, the regional committee of the Communist Party, extremely oppositionly configured. There are a lot of communists in general, and the “Left Front”, and OKP, and “Generation of the New Age”, which recently stood in pickets for the “network”. Against this background, Navalny with Yabloko and other liberals are completely lost.

The Opkom duty officer gave me a leaflet with slogans - against pension reform, against garbage reform, against the growth of housing and communal services tariffs, against police arbitrariness, against censorship in the media. It is difficult to disagree with all this, even if you really do not like the left. And there is a Penza specificity: everyone is unhappy with urban transport. Penza is almost the only city in the country where almost the entire municipal transport is in private hands. And this means the lack of benefits for students and the rest. Ivan Finogeev, the leader of the “generation of the new time”, the youth left -hand organization, says: “Buses and minibuses - private, belong to two companies. One is the son -in -law of the former governor, the second is a large magnate and crook. ” Most protests in Penza are associated precisely with travel benefits and an uncontrolled increase in prices.

There are foreign agents. Two as much as two.

Publisher of the newspaper "Moskovskaya Street", the only local media that can be read. And the "Civil Union" Oleg Sharipkov, supporting social activism: from urbanism to microbusiness and charitable foundations.

“Our business,” says Oleg, “was considered in court parallel to the case of the“ network ”, and, by golly, we had more attention with us. While the administration of domestic politics and the Ministry of Justice was engaged in us, they have been licked everything that could be scolded. And the sadly known suitcase with the gypsies, where Governor Belozertsev shouted that the Americans were shitting us, destabilizing the situation. And the Muslims, who were manifested in an even place to quarrel, because they roofed some and neglected others. And even the elections: this year there are 12 communists in the Duma, there have never been so many of them.

- And from what Bodun are you agents?

- We really have a yuar grant, which we never hid. But we must also prove that, receiving foreign money, we were engaged in politics. Their main argument: Sharipkov and his wife went to a rally against pension reform. The fact that I was there as a private person, and not as the director of the organization, does not bother anyone. And a Facebook entry. I wrote after the rally: "The people of thousands, Putin, bring the troops!" I joked, like. And this is called "engage in politics." We paid a fine of 300 thousand and filed a counterclaim in connection with an illegal decision.

Penza lawyer Igor Zhulimov is not engaged in political affairs. A couple of times he stood up for the detainees on the marchs of protest and, as a result, he himself received five days and searches. And usually he conducts business in commercial claims.

- Do you often win?

- I don't win at all. Yes, and there are few things. One client here in Penza said to me recently: “Normal people, Igor, are now not going to court. We’ll rewell, we will solve everything. Or we will not decide.
And it is pointless to sue. "

It seems that all this does not have a relationship with the “network”. But no, this is about them too. The defendants in the case of the "network" call themselves anti -fascists. Logic suggests that if there are anti -fascists, there should be fascists. Everyone I spoke with, left this topic. Finally they showed me a man and said: "He is our local fascist."

- How are you? I asked him frivolously.

“Terrible,” he answered. - In the city, fascists are in power!

This is called - do not agree on terms. But indeed, who needs to be in order to excite hatred for almost everyone in four years of governorship - from communists and liberals to “fascists” and ordinary citizens. After all, Stalin’s fans are right: garbage dumps, corruption, unemployment, and censorship - all this is present in Penza. The problems have reached such a level that people leave the city thousands. In Moscow, there is an officially registered Penza fraternity. And how many Penza people unofficially live outside the Penza?

... Vladimir Mutovkin, a former employee of the FSB, was recently appointed head of the city. Penza analysts say that in the near future he can change Belozertsev as the governor. And before Feesbashnikov in the city leadership was enough. It’s just that they had an economic roll with Bochkarev, and now it was political. This was told to me by Alexei Shmatko, now a political emigrant, a resident of London, and a Penza businessman, a client of Valery Tokarev, an FSB Penza investigator in the past. The very one that the anarchists from the "Network" are now accused of using torture. According to Shmatko, Tokarev allegedly tortured him, extorting money. Without an electric shocker that appears in the case of a “network”, just, as Shmatko says, was beaten with batons. This is the economic roll. Eight years have passed since then, but Shmatko still has gaps of skin on the body.

“A key figure,” explains Shmatko, “not Tokarev.” Then it was Antonov, who was engaged in economic crimes in the Penza FSB.

And here is what Penza-Posta writes: “Vladimir Mutovkin is well known for his biography, being the key interest of the former deputy head of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation in the Penza region of the Government of Vasily Bochkarev-Nikolai Antonov. It is believed that the planned promotion of Mutovkin “to the city” is implemented with unspoken support of the project from the pool of the former security forces of the FSB of the Russian Federation, with whom Nikolai Antonov still maintains trusting relations. ” Now the ends meet.

- And what kind of person Tokarev?

- Small, fat, bald, scary. Executor. I think that Tokarev does not have its own interest in all these matters or it is minimal.

From another source, I know that Tokarev is a man of amazing endurance. Lena, the mother of Ilya Shakursky from the “Network”, in one of the conversations with the investigator directly asked why he torture her son. “And this is not me,” Tokarev said. It is necessary to have iron nerves to answer the mother like that. Do not refute the fact of torture of a son, but simply to say: "Not me."

- “Maybe it will be revealed, he says, but nothing will happen to me. I will always say that these witnesses are to blame, they misled us. ”

Shmatko informed me that in Britain they are preparing a new package of sanctions against Russia. They relate to the ban on the purchase of oil and gas. Among the lobbying sanctions - he, Alexei Shmatko. It all started with a small ugly investigator. Unexpected consequences, right?

The same Sharipkov told me about how Penza Feesbashniks work.

-Once they came to our office from them. They say: "Do you know Anton Strunin?" And this is a guy from Navalny’s headquarters, I have known him for a long time. “They put leaflets. - Maybe they are stuck. - Can you ask them one for me? - So go, take it, which is easier. - No, I need a new one, clean. - For what? - For the collection. "

This relaxed self -confident manner is also felt in the case of the "network". The defense provokes the wife of Dmitry Pchelintsev to clarify the details of her husband’s arrest, and by chance (!) During the conversation, the judge begins to find out which of the seized phones belongs to her, which husband, which third parties. And laptops? And everything else?

And then I suddenly understand that in two years no one bothered to ask: that they generally seized and to whom it belongs.

About the same with other evidence of guilt. For some reason, the prosecution is very important to prove that all the defendants are a united group led by a leader. A psychological examination was carried out on this subject. But an independent expert comes, and it turns out that an examination of the prosecution is not worth a penny, it was carried out against the rules, and in conclusion the testimony of the guys given at the investigation of Tokarev is simply copied. The cohesion and leadership qualities on which the court presses are not a sign of a terrorist group. Carry out a cohesion and leadership in the Government of the Russian Federation - and get similar results. And if the answers of the tested do not satisfy the investigation, contact Tokarev, he apparently knows what to do in such cases.

Or here is a “position”, a certain text allegedly found on a computer near Shakursky. The accusation considers him the charter of the organization and the proof of its terrorist plans. And then during the examination it turns out that the text has been walking on the Internet for a long time, and it is edited in the interests of the prosecution by the operative S., and authorship belongs, apparently, to the girl, and the defendants, as you might notice, men.

There is really nothing more. In addition to the testimony that the accused refused as data under torture. It is clear that the court never recognizes torture, he needs to protect the honor of the uniform. And the FSB is an organization that will not give its own. But there is another way out, I tell you: it’s not too late to send the case for a review, announcing the evidence inappropriate. Then quietly dismiss the investigator and stop the case for lack of evidence. The FSB has no other way to save the face. Let me remind you that Pchelintsev’s complaint has already reached the ECHR, on the approach of the complaints of the rest. And this means that the court has little time.
