On November 7, on the Nation News website, in Russian, speaking, “People’s News”, the material of “deputy was accused of pedophilia former students” that Boris Vishnevsky, who is a professor of the Russian State Pedagogical University named after Herzen (RSEU), thought of students and intimidated their deputy “crust”. The publication quoted a letter from a certain Christina, who claimed that in 2014 Boris Lazarevich “chose the object of passion of provincial freshmen: they still have no friends or acquaintances in the city, there is no one to protect them”, as well as young people. And supposedly, such cases were far from single.

“Folk News”, of course, laid the straw, writing that they did not claim that the information was reliable, but asked for the publication by appeal to law enforcement agencies. At the same time, on dozens of pages in VKontakte, including those that, more recently, during the election campaign, he was campaigning for Alexander Beglov, almost identical posts appeared, retelling the “news” about the harassment of the deputy.

The RSPU raised archival documents and said: firstly, in 2014 there were not a single Christina among freshmen, and secondly, Boris Vishnevsky never taught from freshmen, and there were never any accusations against him.

The dirty tricks of “Folk News” had every chance of dying, having no great success, but on November 7 in St. Petersburg there was a tragedy - historian Oleg Sokolov killed a girl, his student. This allowed the Federal News Agency (FAN) to publish the material “Vishnevsky and Sokolov corrupted the students and spiritually”, posting a number of photographs of the deputy and the accused of the murder of the historian, and again quote the letter of Christina, whose evidence of the existence is not.

It should be noted that both FAN and NATION News are part of the Patriot holding, the creation of which was announced on October 1, 2019. The Patriot website says that the head of the trusteeship of the media group is Evgeny Prigozhin.

Thus, the businessman “legitimized” his relations with publications, the connection with which he stubbornly denied for several years. And the first time in the official status he participated in the persecution (in this case, Boris Vishnevsky), which the media controlled by the media are constantly engaged. So, in the spring of this year, Prigozhin resources accused the deputy of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg Maxim Reznik in drug addiction and incest.

The Union of Journalists of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region made a statement, emphasizing that this is “far from the first example of an unscrupulous, obviously stripped information campaign carried out by the same media group”, and that “such publications of these media employees not only discredit themselves, but also put their media outside the profession.”

Nikolai Stolyarchuk, the head of the media group, in his response transferred responsibility to the SZh , since, in his opinion, in the statement there are no “specific cases of“ similar campaigns ”, <...> in order to avoid responsibility for slander and dissemination of information discrediting a business reputation.” He accused the Union of Journalists of taking an illogical position “against the backdrop of a terrible information that these days from the Moika River, an 63-year-old teacher of St. Petersburg State University Oleg Sokolov with severed hands of 24-year-old Anastasia Eshchenko was caught.”

Unfortunately, on November 12, the campaign, which was unleashed by Patriots, picked up the federal television channel "Russia 24",

Having reported that “mass complaints” come to Boris Vishnevsky from students, a shaft of indignation is growing, and the city is covered by single pickets against him. The press service of the university stated that meetings were held with students and none of them confirmed the fact of harassment. But this did not prevent the TV channel from talking about a story that has no evidence as a “incident” committed.

Boris Vishnevsky said that on November 14 he filed a statement on the initiation of a criminal case against the distributors of slander and is preparing an appeal to the court at the place of registration of the Patriot media group) to the Media Group of the Media Group).
