MTS will create digital copies of workers in Siberia

The MTS company has launched a set of IoT sensors to the market to control the movement of workers in the production, mining and construction areas. The device allows you to create a “digital copy” of the employee and observe him in real time.

According to the company, the solution unites a set of sensors sewn into overalls, as well as a system of analytics of employees' activity and notification about the emergence of a dangerous situation. This helps to simultaneously increase the level of safety and control the efficiency of labor in production - compliance with the work schedule at the enterprise and the actual maintenance and repair of equipment.

Data obtained from sensors can be stored both on their own server and in cloud infrastructure. The technology does not require additional training of workers: it is enough to put on overalls - the system is activated automatically.

When entering the hazardous zones, the sensor sends a notification to the system control center, he can also, using a sound signal, warn about the dangers of the employee himself.

The equipment is equipped with an alarm button, determining the location with an accuracy of three meters allows you to increase the speed of evacuation of employees in case of emergency situations and assist the victims during the “golden hour”. Thus, the product helps to monitor compliance by employees of industrial safety requirements established by Rostekhnadzor and reduces the number of injuries in the production.

For the regions of Siberia, the technology is especially relevant in construction, agricultural, aviation, oil and coaling areas. The average annual growth rate of investment in industrial Internet in Russia is about 17%.

Since the end of 2018, MTS first of the operators launched a NB-Iot network in the regions of Siberia and launched an IOT platform that allows you to integrate sensors connected through various protocols into a single system: 2G, 3G, 4G, Wi-Fi and NB-IOT.
