The film "Baby Joe" about the flower that makes people happy, opened the program of the eighth festival of Austrian cinema in the Novosibirsk "Victory". Ex-editor of the magazine "Session" and film critic Maria Kuvshinova talked about why the picture is more like a horror film.

The festival started from the picture of Jessica Hauser "Baby Joe". The main character Alice is a breeder. She grows a flower whose aroma makes people happy. The final picture of the “cop” is the most striking in the program illustration of how easy it is to lose itself in the modern world. Here, as in the opening film, the protagonist’s dream turns a nightmare. Christoph wanted to become an exemplary police officer, but the need to shoot in a mentally ill person for the defense of his colleague turns his idea of ​​good and evil. On the large screen of the "cops" will be shown on November 17.
