In Bashkiria, 20 times in two months did not agree on an environmental rally: an activist story

Near Neftekamsk they want to open a landfill for the disposal of hazardous waste. Residents opposed the landfill. For two months they submitted 20 applications for a rally, but they did not agree on any of them. Each time, the authorities argue that the other organizers were ahead of activists - who did not conduct a single rally. The flounder is a small city on the border of Udmurtia and Bashkortostan. The flounder is located from our city, Neftekamsk, 15 kilometers. Near the flounder they decided to reprofile the plant that processed chemicals. Now there will be not only a chemical plant, but also a landfill for waste disposal of the first and second hazard class: waste containing mercury, oil, as well as batteries and more.

They say that 50 thousand tons of waste will be processed per year. This is a huge figure. It is likely that the waste will simply burn, which is very harmful to the environment. In addition, Kama flows next to the plant. If the waste falls into the river, many regions will suffer.

The first rallies were in July in Kambarka and Neftekamsk. Initiative groups against this plant also appeared in Izhevsk and Sarapul. The first rally on the problem of the factory in Kambark was agreed in July without problems. The head of Neftekamsk spoke at the rally, said that he was in solidarity with the position of residents, advocates that the plant does not threaten ecology.

But then we submitted notifications to rallies on this problem twenty times in September and October, and each time our applications rejected. Allegedly every time we were applied to the rally in the same place at the same time. Applications for shares were submitted by people from Industria LLC, who is closely cooperating with the Neftekamsk administration. If the city needs some construction work, the tender is likely to win the industry.

We declared a rally against reprofiling the plant in Kambarka, and people from the industry - a rally on the topic of garbage reform. The “industry” with an application for a rally always turned out to be allegedly before us, because we do not put an incoming number on the adopted notification about the rally. They say that the registration of a rally notification is carried out during the day. This enables officials to say that someone on the same day, but supposedly earlier, brought their application.

In Neftekamsk, there are 140 thousand people, there are many areas in the city, but there is a resolution of the Neftekamsk administration that all rallies should be held next to the October cinema. The industry does not conduct any rallies, although even in court she promised that she would spend. According to the recently adopted law , if the rally cancele, the organizers should publicly notify this. Nothing was done.

On the problem of the KPRF flounder, a rally was allowed only in Ufa (the capital of Bashkortostan- ATS-Info ), but not in Neftekamsk. And on November 7, the organizer of the Rage of the Communist Party of the Communist Party of the Communist Party in Neftekamsk received a notice from the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan that the factory in Kambarka, the problem of drinking water in Neftekamsk and pension reform cannot be discussed at the city rally. Because this will be a deviation from the declared topic of the rally - the anniversary of the October Revolution and the social situation in Russia.

Topics of drinking water and flounders at a rally on November 7 in Neftekamsk were still affected. The police did not interfere with this, but the police were forbidden to put on a T -shirt with a slogan against the plant with one of the activists.

In Neftekamsk, a new clan came to power, I think they are afraid of rallies: they are afraid that they will give the impression that not everything is in order in the city.
