A documentary about Manul was shot in the Altai Reserve. The picture is part of the trilogy about the rarest inhabitants of the Syulugem National Park.

The film "Manul-Lone Predator" was released on YouTube.com, the press service of the Sylugem national park reports on November 19. The picture was shot by Mikhail Kulunakov and Olga Kulunakova, the founders of the Altaifilm studio.

“The film“ Manul is a lone predator ”is dedicated to one of the most independent representatives of the cat - Pallasov Kotu. The flat -eared inhabitant of the National Park prefers a secretive lifestyle and rarely falls into the lenses of cameras and fixtures, - noted in the national park. “Nevertheless, the creators of the film managed to collect unique material, accompany it with graphics and create an interesting story about the yellow hunter on high -mountain rodents.”

A documentary film is part of the cycle about the rarest animals of the national park: Irbis, Manule and Argali.

According to experts, at least 400 individuals live in Altai. Hunting for a manul is everywhere prohibited.
