
Russian skater Alena Kostornaya set a new world record in a short program for women at the Grand Prix stage in Sapporo, receiving 85.04 points for rental.
The previous achievement belonged to Japanese Rick Kihira and was 83.97 points. By the way, Kihira (79.89) on his native ice is the second, third place is occupied by American Karen Chen (67.21).
