
In Japanese Sapporo, 16-year-old Russian skater Alena Kostornaya, having scored 240.00 points in the amount of programs, won the final stage of the Grand Prix series.
Alena in an arbitrary program did not have enough one point before the world record, she landed with an axel with a half of the turnover with a blot.
“On this accele, I lost about three points, otherwise I would have broken a record if I refer to my estimates today. But so far I haven’t beat it,” Kostorak to reporters said.
The second place was taken by Japanese Rick Kihira (231,84), the third was the Russian woman Alina Zagitova (217.99). Another Russian woman Sophia Samodurova showed the sixth result (183.27).
