The fight with Ortiz was Wilder’s second under an agreement with the streaming platform DAZN. According to the contract, the American will receive $100 million for three fights. In his next fight, Wilder will face Briton Tyson Fury, the fight is scheduled for February 22, 2020.
The 40-year-old Ortiz suffered the second loss of his career in 31 wins (26 by knockout). This was his second time boxing for a world title.
