Petersburg: The General Consults of Germany were picked against "uranium tails"

Two eco -activists took turns standing with posters in single pickets near the building of the German Consulate General on Furshtatskaya Street. The police officer, who was at the consulate, first demanded from the activist to leave the consulate, and then contacted journalists with the same requirements. The policeman stated that the audience interfered with the consulates and passers -by.

Activists wanted to convey to the Consulate General a request to suspend the import of waste, but the consulate "for security purposes" asked to send the appeal "Russian Post".

Previously, single pickets against the import of radioactive waste took place in Kurgan and the Arkhangelsk region.
