The Elista city court fined activist Sanal Ubushiev 12,000 rubles for participating in a rally against the appointment of Acting Mayor Dmitry Trapeznikov. It is reported by MBH Media.
The court found Ubushiev guilty under the article on violation of the rules for holding an action (part 5 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) for the September 29 rally. Earlier, the same court terminated proceedings against Ubushiev for participating in an action with the same theme, which took place on October 1. At that time, the court did not find any corpus delicti in the actions of the activist.
“This is a special place for holding public events, there is no need to submit a notice of holding if there are no more than a hundred participants. I was the first to be convicted for participating in this rally. But how could I, as a participant in the rally, know that there were more than a hundred people there? They simply introduced formal grounds to condemn us, ”Ubushiev reports the words of the publication.
