According to Leviev, the attack on him began "after the story with the scanner" - a project that, after a protest of the protest on July 27, began to calculate the police and fighters of the Russian Guard, who participated in severe detentions and beatings of the demonstrators. Leviev himself in his accounts in social networks also published the names of some security forces.

The authors of the message called on to "give him hello" and "decorate his car." “Next time, we will introduce you to your parents and other relatives of this geek,” the message said.

After the publication of Leviev’s personal data, he received hundreds of threats with threats within a few hours, Echo of Moscow reported.
