Roskomnadzor reported that all publications were included in the list of “information resources that repeatedly disseminate false information” due to comments from readers, according to the regulator’s website.
“There are no claims against the media themselves either in the request of the Prosecutor General’s Office or in Roskomnadzor,” the department emphasized.
Roskomnadzor promised that “in order to eliminate future erroneous interpretations of the register” they will soon change the form of the register.
Previously, the regulator published a list of resources that “repeatedly disseminate false information.” It included RBC, Gazeta.ru, Mash and Lentach public pages. In particular, RBC was included in the list because of two comments on the VKontakte public page about the explosion at the Kristall State Research Institute in Dzerzhinsk.
