Roskomnadzor stated that a test version of the list of information resources that have repeatedly disseminated false information has been published on its website. In the near future, Roskomnadzor said in a statement, the form of the register will be changed "in order to exclude further erroneous interpretations."
The list published on November 29 by Roskomnadzor mentions, among others, RBC and Gazeta.Ru, indicating that inaccurate information was disseminated on the forums of their users in social networks.
RBC regarded the listing as damage to reputation. The statement of the publication emphasized that the law "On Information, Information Technologies and Information Protection" was not violated, and no "fake" materials appeared on RBC's resources.
Roskomnadzor also confirmed that "there are no claims against the media themselves."
“Roskomnadzor officially declares that all distribution cases listed in the “List of information resources that repeatedly disseminate false information” refer to the dissemination of false information in user comments.
