Roskomnadzor has published on its website a list of information resources that, according to the agency, have repeatedly disseminated false information. It is noted that this is a test version of the list.
There are 27 items in total. Among them there are both official and unofficial media (Gazeta.Ru, RBC, Mash, Lentach), as well as publics and communities in social networks (MDK, Overheard Bratsk, Typical Dzerzhinsk). The list also includes four personal accounts from VK and Facebook.
For each of the persons on the list, the agency gives examples of information that was recognized as fake. They mainly concern the events of the explosions at the Kristall Research Institute in Dzerzhinsk, the riots in the village of Chemodanovka, and the flood in Tulun.
Roskomnadzor calls the VK community “Overheard Dzerzhinsk” the record holder for the number of violations. It revealed 34 violations (four posts and 30 comments).
RBC regarded the listing as damage to reputation. The publication's statement emphasizes that the law "On Information, Information Technologies and Information Protection" was not violated, and no "fake" materials appeared on RBC's resources.
The list includes information sources that were mentioned two or more times in the requirements of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation sent to Roskomnadzor in order to comply with the provisions of Art. 15.3 of the Federal Law No. 149-FZ "On Information, Information Technologies and Information Protection" (in the part relating to the dissemination of unreliable publicly significant information).
