
For Russian fans, a simplified mode of obtaining a visa is introduced for the duration of the 2020 European Football Championship. This was told by the Executive Director of UEFA Martin Kallen, reports TASS.
According to Callen, UEFA will develop proposals in the coming days that can simplify the visa procedure for Russians. It is about cities that will accept the European Championship.
At the same time, it is already known that for the entry into St. Petersburg, foreign fans will have enough passports of the fan necessary for visiting the tournament matches - the same regime acted in 2018 during the World Cup.
The European Championship will be held from June 12 to July 12 in 12 cities of Europe: Petersburg, London, Munich, Baku, Rome, Bucharest, Dublin, Copenhagen, Bilbao, Glasgow, Budapest and Amsterdam. Petersburg will take two matches of the group stage with the participation of the Russian team and one quarterfinals.
It is already known that one of the matches of the group stage in St. Petersburg will hold the Russian team against the national team of Belgium. In another St. Petersburg match, Russia will play either with Finland or with Wales - the opponent will be determined during the draw. Russia will take the third match of the group stage to Copenhagen against the Denmark’s national team.
