A bank employee found a banknote on which someone said goodbye to her father - and with the help of social networks returned it to the owner

Malaysian bank employee Hiza Ezani discovered an unusual 10 ringgit banknote. Her attention was drawn to the touching inscription on the banknote: “This is the last bill that my father handed me. May 21, 2010, Friday, 7:10 am. I ❤️you, dad. Ezani decided to return the memorabilia to its true owner at all costs. A bank employee posted photos of the banknote on Facebook and asked to spread this story so that the information is guaranteed to reach the owner.

Ezani's post was reposted more than 24,000 times - and a week later, the owner was finally found! It turned out to be a woman named Ann Malar Yesudas. In 2010, she was only 17 years old, on the morning of May 21, her father collected her for school. Finally, he gave her RM10 for pocket money. This was the last time Yesudas saw her father - later that day he had an accident.

Since then, Yesudas kept the commemorative banknote in her wallet until she was robbed in September 2018. According to Yesudas, she did not feel sorry for her wallet - she was worried about the banknote, which meant so much to her. What was the surprise of Yesudas when she saw the post of Ezani, who was looking for the owner of those same 10 ringgits. Yesudas contacted a bank employee, took the banknote and wrote a post on Facebook. In the publication, she thanked Ezani and admitted that she still misses her father.
