The leader of the Kuban Doctors' Alliance was fined 20 thousand rubles for a single picket

The Central District Court of Sochi imposed a fine of 20,000 rubles on the leader of the Kuban branch of the Alliance of Doctors, Yulia Volkova, for participating in a solitary picket “for decent medicine.” This was reported on the twitter of the trade union.

Volkova was fined under the article on organizing an uncoordinated public event (part 2 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). According to the protocol, she "abused" the right to freedom of assembly by organizing a collective public action under the guise of individual pickets. As the woman herself clarified, the picket participants stood in turn with placards and passed them folded.

• On November 30, trade union members stood with posters “Corruption in medicine is death” and “Doctor Frelich, we are with you.” The website of the trade union reports that Yulia Frelikh was fired from Hospital No. 5 in Sochi after she "published the facts of multiple serious violations" in the medical facility.
