Roskomnadzor blocked the website of the publication Coda for the article “Mephedrone and the Rat King,” Roskomsvoboda reports .
Earlier, the author of this note, published in February, Andrei Kaganskikh, drew attention to the blocking. “The largest drug trading platform in Russia says it is sponsoring clandestine research into an almost unstudied but very popular drug. The test subjects are rats, volunteers and the doctors themselves,” says the article’s subtitle, “Mephedrone and the Rat King.”
The blocking of the site began by decision of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on November 16, according to the Roskomnadzor register.
Coda bills itself as “a team of journalists that takes one big, big issue and runs it from start to finish.” The last note on the site was published on August 28, after which the resource was not updated.
