The City Hall rejected the "mass application" for a rally against the destruction of Moscow in the city center

The Moscow City Hall rejected the mass application for a rally on December 15 against the demolition of a historical city and renovation. The notification to the public event was signed by several municipal deputies, and then more and more new Muscovites joined it. This was told by the Department of Internal Affairs of the Gagarinsky District, Chairman of the Council of Deputies of the Gagarinsky District, Elena Rusakova.

An application for a rally for the preservation of the historical appearance of Moscow at the time of filing to the city hall was supported by 840 Muscovites. Their signatures were attached to the application. On the morning of December 6 there were more than 1300 people. The action was planned to be held on December 15 on Bolshaya Yakimanka, Academician Sakharov Avenue or on Bolotnaya Square, as agreed. The mayor's refusal looks standard: the listed sites are occupied by the Christmas festival, the rally will entail a violation of the functioning of the infrastructure. In addition, allegedly residents near Aktsko Ak. Sakharov complain about noise, and people with state protection move along the Big Yakimanka.

The rally of 10 thousand people in the city center “Against the destruction of Moscow” sent the city hall to the Hyde Park in Sokolniki Park. Rusakova explained that she had sent an open appeal to the deputy mayor A. N. Gorbenko with a demand to cancel the practice of actual bans of rallies in the city center.
