A 21-year-old student of the Higher School of Economics Yegor Zhukov is accused of extremism. The prosecutor's office requested four years for Zhukov. The student himself rejects the charges of calling for violence and considers his persecution politically motivated.
In support of Zhukov, on Thursday, the famous journalist and Yetyub-blogger Yuri Dud spoke. He stated that the verdict that the court will pass will become an “official statement of the“ Russian state ”about what awaits any indifferent and initiative young man in the near future.” “That's exactly why tomorrow's meeting applies to absolutely everyone who connects their future with Russia. And the one who reads it in a costume of the pink unicorn, preparing a new video on YouTube. And the one who goes in a minibus with unloved work. And the one who is waiting for a departure from Domodedovo to Thai. And the one who accepts the mother in the press conference of D.A. Medvedeva <...> If Yegor Zhukov is found guilty and sent to a very specific signal that sounds like this: you are young, active, with empathy and responsibility-we do not need buffer priests, Gopniki, Gopniki and Speaks -Sadinists-you are needed.
For the 32-year-old Muscovite Pavel Novikov, the prosecutor's office requested three years in prison. According to the investigation, he hit the policeman on the head and shoulder with a plastic bottle of water, causing him physical pain. Novikov himself pleaded guilty. In the last word, he stated that he values the safety of his loved ones, told the details of his detention and conditions in the investigative insulator. He thanked other prisoners for support.
27-year-old Vladimir Emelyanov threatens four years in prison. According to the investigation, at the protest of the protest on July 27, he grabbed an employee of the Russian Guard for the uniform and pulled him, "thereby depriving the specified representative of the power of freedom of movement and causing physical pain." At the same time, the victim - Sergeant Maxim Kosov - asked not to punish Emelyanov strictly.
22-year-old Nikita Chirtsov the prosecutor's office asks to be sentenced to three and a half years in the colony. For promotions for honest elections to the Moscow City Duma, he allegedly pushed the policeman in the chest. The victim at the trial said that he did not feel the pain from this, but simply backed back. Earlier it became known that Chirtsov compensated the policeman moral damage, paying him 15 thousand rubles.
Cases against Maxim Martintsov, Alexander Mylnikov and Yegor Forests were united into one. All three were arrested in mid -October as part of a new wave of detentions in the "Moscow case". According to investigators, on July 27, the defendants knocked the fighter of the Russian Guard. In addition, the forest supposedly kicked another law enforcement officer. For him, the prosecutor’s office requested four years in colony, for Martintsov - three and a half years, for Mylnikov - three years. All three deny their guilt.
Earlier, seven people have already been convicted in the "Moscow case". They received deadlines from year to conditionally up to five years in the colony.
