On December 7, relatives and friends of political prisoners from different cities of Russia gathered in the Moscow Memorial. Most of those present are the mothers of the defendants of the nine most high-profile politically motivated cases: from the “network” (the terrorist organization banned in Russia) and the “new greatness” to Rostov’s affairs and the case of Hizb Ut-Tahrir (a terrorist organization banned in Russia).

On November 4, 2019, all these mothers, who have equally pain and disorder of the injustice of sentences to their own children, united in the organization of “mother against political repression”.

Today they went to the picket by the Kremlin wall. In the hope that they will hear them like that.

In the department, the first thing they did was announced the “fortress” plan, set the fence and did not let anyone in. No lawyers, no friends. The lawyer struck us with difficulty. And in the end - Article 20.2, part fifth. She stood in the wrong place, violated the order of single pickets. Up to 20 thousand rubles, as far as I understand it. And the violation is that the picket took place in the territory adjacent to the president’s residence and other regime objects. It would be my will, I would have come even closer to the president’s residence. To explain that Dima is not to blame for him to be released. We, mothers, have already tried everything. We wrote to Putin recently, but again no one heard us. And what should we do? Throw children in prison?

Previously, mothers were not detained, the first time this happened. We went out into the pickets, to maternal marches. Unauthorized, by the way, but there was not a single detention. Everyone understood that it was ugly, it was completely to break through the bottom.

People scream about their misfortune, they are in despair. Is this a crime? No. And here with the initiative of us. Children in prison, now take their mothers.

In general, they drew up a protocol in the China-Gorod police department three hours later. And the poster, they say, are seized. Here I was seriously upset. There is a very beautiful photo of Dima, and now it lies with strangers in the police department.
