“We are growing and developing, so we are constantly considering various options for expansion,” said the representative of Yandex, refusing to comment on the details of the rental negotiations. The representative of the Capital Group also did not comment on the information about the transaction possibly.

According to the interlocutors of Vedomosti, other companies apply for some of the squares in the Oy Oeka tower. For example, in November it was reported that Modulbank can purchase up to 9 thousand square meters there, and about 7 thousand square meters in the tower want to rent Novartis. Now negotiations with them are suspended, since for Capital Group a large client is of greater interest.

According to Elena Denisova, the rental rate in the Eye Tower is 30-33 thousand rubles per 1 square meter per year. Losyukov estimated the rent of 35 thousand rubles per meter per year. Thus, the rental of new areas can cost Yandex of 1.3-1.5 billion rubles a year.
