On November 19, during an official audit at Vnukovo Airport, police discovered the loss of material evidence from the storage chamber in terminal D. We are talking about 105 kilograms of drugs, which were taken almost five years ago from the flight attendant Vladimir Sapov,Baza reports.
On January 20, 2014, Sapov, working on the Moscow - Beijing flight, flew to the PRC. There, in one of the hotels, the accomplice handed over four suitcases to the drug courier and one bag with derivatives of the N-methyl-ephedron (more than 50 kg), amphetamine (more than 5 kg) and prohibited psychotropic mixture (over 50 kg). In addition, Sapov received the phone numbers of unidentified persons who needed to pass drugs. However, on January 24, when inspection to Vnukovo, customs officers seized all the found substances from the flight attendant. On July 24, 2015, the Moscow City Court found Sapov guilty of drug smuggling, as well as in preparation for sales on an especially large scale.
The seized substances were to be stored at Vnukovo Airport, but disappeared somewhere. According to one version, they were destroyed on the basis of the Mosgorsud sentence of 2015, but the audit found that the court could not give permission to destroy evidence - since one of the participants in the case is on the run. In addition, the police could not document the fact of drug destruction.
As a result, the former authorities of the linear department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Vnukovo fell under suspicion. So far, the criminal case under the article “Theft or extortion of narcotic drugs” has been instituted against “unidentified persons”.
