Alexey Melnikov: “The horror of United Russia member Slutskaya”

“And this is just horror... I can’t put into words what I’m experiencing right now,” writes Irina Slutskaya. The author of the horror is known. It was the Russian authorities who created the state doping system in the country. When they got caught, they denied everything and started defaming everyone around them. And now, having stepped on the rake for the second time, again manipulating the data, they have earned our country the excommunication of Russian sports from international competitions for four years.

Now, athletes innocent of doping will also be held accountable for the activities of the authorities, of which United Russia member Irina Slutskaya is a loyal part. Our outstanding figure skater is worried about them. But is this news? That innocent Russians are suffering because of the activities of the Russian authorities? Look at the “Moscow case” fabricated by the authorities, the “Bolotnaya case”. For arrests, fines, humiliation, recognition as “foreign agents”, “the case of the 7th studio”, “the Network case”, “the New Greatness case”, “the Svetlana Prokopieva case” and so on.

Irina Slutskaya does not want to understand that this is a general rule for our country - Russian citizens are always responsible for the mistakes and crimes of the authorities. The authorities are never responsible.

Irina Slutskaya writes: “...this is extremely difficult psychologically, just imagine that you are suspected of committing a crime, and you clearly know that you have not done anything wrong...”

These words can accurately describe the situation in which the people persecuted by the authorities as part of the “Moscow case” found themselves. And the consequences here are much more severe than for athletes. But, apparently, United Russia member Slutskaya is not worried about them and does not feel horror from what is happening.”
