The Kudymkar City Court in the Perm Territory canceled the fine for Lithuanian citizen Thomas Kukis, who participated in cleaning the cemetery of the repressed in the Perm Territory. This was reported by the Public Verdict Foundation.
Kukis and four other members of the Memorial expedition were accused of “unauthorized seizure of a forest area” (Article 7.9 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). Each of them was fined 20 thousand rubles.
Earlier, the court dismissed the case and canceled the fine of another member of the expedition, Vladas Ulinskas, for lack of corpus delicti.
