Last week, the Basmanny Court left under the arrest of a 21-year-old student of MAI Andrei Barny, one of the Moscow Affairs, 21-year-old student of MAI. He was detained in October as part of the so -called second wave of arrests that followed the summer protests in Moscow. A little more than a week after the arrest, the investigation sent barley to a stationary psychiatric examination. At the end of November, he was transferred to the medical research center of psychiatry and narcology named after Serbian.
With the help of his lawyers - Mansur Gilmanov and Svetlana Baiturina - Andrei was able to answer the questions of Radio Liberty and talked about what happened to him over the past months.
- Andrey, tell us a little about yourself. Who are you, from which family, what are you fond of and interested?
- I am 21 years old. I am a student of MAI. Parents are programmers. I am fond of electronic music (Dark Wave). He taught at the FMSh (physical and mathematical school at the MAI). I spent a couple of seminars. Interested in design: graphic design, interfaces design. I watched a movie. In general, such ordinary hobbies.

- Why did you decide to reach the protest on August 10? Did you participate in summer protests and in general - were politically active?
- I went out in order to indicate my civic position. Participated in most summer shares of this year. I went out in the spring for a promotion of political prisoners, for a rally against telegram blocking.
- Did you understand then that it was risky?
- He understood, but in the framework of administrative responsibility.
- How did the action go to you on August 10? What is she remembered by?
- I remember the rain and a large number of participants. On August 10, I was detained near pure ponds. The protocol records time that does not correspond to reality. I was charged with the fact that I shouted the slogan "Down with power!". There was no such slogan. This is a frank lies that I did not expect. He met the sculptor Naroditsky Mikhail Davidovich, the son of the Soviet artist David Naroditsky.
- When the arrests began on the first wave of "Moscow case", did you think that they could also become the accused in this case?
They can take anyone
- There was an excitement that this could happen. They can take anyone. As the time passed and no one came after me, the excitement was waning. On the night after the rally, I did not particularly worry. But a few days before the detention, I had unpleasant forebodings.
- How did you find out that you also got into this story? What were the first thoughts about at that moment?
- At 6 in the morning I woke up from the fact that the investigator and operational employees flew into the apartment. Thoughts were very tangled. I had a temperature. I was a cold. I woke up from the scream: "Investigative actions are being carried out!"
- Tell us how the detention and search took place?
- The search was better than I expected. After the search, everything happened rapidly. I experienced malaise due to temperature. I was deceived about the lawyer. Like, "he is somewhere nearby", but in fact [Vasily] Kushnir stood near the SK building. It was all surreal and absurd.
- Do you agree with the charges?
- I do not agree with the accusations, in fact all the charges are very stupid. A man in the UK said that they themselves did not want to do this. But it seems to me that they so calm their conscience.
- When meetings were held in the Basmanny Court to choose a preventive measure, the beginning of your meeting waited the longer all of all - about 9 hours. What happened to you at this time?
- I was brought to court in the morning. I sat in the boxing room with [Vladimir] Emelyanov and [Yegor] Lesnoye. I was not allowed to take a book with me. There was nothing to do, but there were a lot of inscriptions on the walls that we read in boxing.

At first, Emelyanov took it, then he was returned and took the forests. Then they returned the forests and took me away. In this boxing you do not feel at all a move of time. I was disturbed by my mother, friends and acquaintances who came to support me and waited for me. I am grateful to everyone who waited and supported me. I was very surprised that so many caring people came to support me.
- Tell us about the conditions of detention in jail. Who did you sit with, what conditions, what did you do?
- In the pre -trial detention center, the camera was 10 people. A citizen of Holland, two Uzbeks, one Belarusian and Ukrainian sat with us. Of all 10 people, there were only two Muscovites. The atmosphere was friendly - comrades in misfortune. In everyday life, everything was better than my ideas (sarcasm): cockroaches in a shower, a walking courtyard, in which the sky looked in a thin strip, an employee of the Federal Penitentiary Service, who tried to support and encourage me, indicating that I had no place in prison.
According to the articles, cellular: 228 ("illegal acquisition, storage, transportation, manufacture, processing of drugs") or 158 ("theft").
A newspaper propagated a sash of a window from which the muzzle
It was cold in the cell when the cold began. The newspaper propagated the sash of the window from which the muzzle.
- And what about the Serbian Institute?
In the Serbian Chamber for 6 people. Very spacious. There is freedom of movement - you can go to the corridor. The walking courtyard is larger, the tree grows, and there are no gratings when you look at the sky. The yard is ennobled. In terms of quality [in Serbian] food is better. Here is cleaner - a hospital, in a word. There are calm guys in the ward. They behave a little less likely. Everything is perceived differently. There is a TV, but I try not to watch it.
I talked with the doctors who are assigned to me. There are two of them: psychologist-psychiatrist Elena Mikhailovna and Valery Andreevna. They call me to different specialists, and I go to them. They told me that I would stay with them from three to four weeks - this is a standard interval.
In jail, I read letters, books, magazines and newspapers. From newspapers "New" and "Popular Mechanics". Herman Hesse managed to read from the books, two books by Chuck Palanik - “suffocation” and “disappeared intelligence”, “the promised land” remark, “chipped”. In fact, there, in addition to reading books, magazines, newspapers and letters, as well as writing answers to letters. By the way, in Serbian there is also a library, as in a pre -trial detention center.
Here in the wards there are window-string cells 3x3-two lower rows opaque, and the upper rows are transparent. There are no gratings on the windows. You can see the roofs of the houses. In the dining room you can see a neighboring house, in the evenings there lights in the windows, you notice the silhouettes of people. You feel closer to free people. They feed very well. Pyatraza diet: breakfast, lunch, dinner, afternoon snack and evening. In the evening, befriends, kefir or milk are necessarily given.
- How do you assess the prospects of the case against you?
- I assume the worst, I hope for the best.
- You are supported by a very large number of your classmates and generally classmates. Is this support unexpected for you?
- For me, support is important. She helps me a lot. I was surprised by the support of some friends, classmates and acquaintances.
