On April 23, President Putin supported this idea.

For several months there was an active discussion - what the park should be, even in the elections, citizens were offered to fill out a questionnaire with questions - what they want to see in the park. Then they chose the name of the park - "Cups of Buyan."

It is possible that all this was just a smoke curtain in front of the ongoing construction. There is no doubt that it continues, the zero cycle of several buildings is finished, almost the entire area of the future park is concreted. Boris Vishnevsky on his Facebook page posted the response of Governor Beglov, which says: “The building permit (judicial quarter) is valid, there are no grounds for its cancellation.”

Vishnevsky is outraged that the promise given by the president of the country and the governor of St. Petersburg at this place the park is not the basis for the abolition of construction.

“When a piece of cake had to be thrown to the townspeople before the elections, they threw it, they said - what kind of runner well done, solved a long -term problem. And now they continue to build a judicial quarter, as if nothing had happened, they lied to people in the face and did not blink an eye,” the deputy says. Now he is going to put in parliament the question of the ongoing construction instead of creating a park.
