The United States inscribed in the military budget of sanctions against the "Turkish stream"

The US Senate included in the military budget for 2020 the sanctions not only against the participants of the North Stream-2 project bypassing Ukraine, but also against the Turkish Stream gas pipeline. The sea section of this project has already been built, under threat of its continuation in Serbia and Bulgaria.

Sanctions against the “Turkish stream” are in the Russian Countering section along with the ban on the recognition of Crimea by Russian, the allocation of $ 300 million for defense needs and the ban on the supply of Turkey F-35 fighters due to the purchase of Russian S-400 air defense systems.

Since the US military budget is required to accept, sanctions will be held with it.

• Sanctions against Northern Stream-2 include restrictions on foreign companies that provide their vessels for laying pipes. In the case of the “Turkish stream”, we can talk about the contractors of the land, the main of which is the Turkish partner of Gazprom Botas.
• Both sea threads with a capacity of 15.75 billion cubic meters. m are completed and filled with gas, the launch is scheduled for the beginning of 2020.
• Just as “North Stream-2”, “Turkish stream” allows us to export Russian gas to Europe bypassing Ukraine. It is assumed that a separate branch of the Balkan Stream will pass through Bulgaria, Serbia and Hungary. The Bulgarian site is building Italo-Saudi Arkad Engineering.
