The Supreme Court (Armed Forces) proposed to close criminal cases when repaying the arrears at any stage of not only the investigation, but also the court, write "Vedomosti".

Sun prepared amendments to Art. 28.1 of the Code of Criminal Procedure ("Continuation of criminal prosecution in connection with compensation for damage"). Today they are considered by the Plenum of the Armed Forces.

According to the highest court, it is advisable to release criminal liability (if debt repayment) at any stage of the trial to remove the court for sentencing.

The amendments are agreed with the Main State Law Administration of the President, said Vladimir Davydov, Chairman of the College of Criminal Association.

Today it became known that President Putin supported the proposal to increase the threshold of tax arrears, after which criminal liability comes in the case.
