© "Big Book"On December 10, a ceremony of presenting the National Literary Prize “Big Book” took place in the house of Pashkov in Moscow. The first prize was received by Oleg Lekmanov, Mikhail Sverdlov and Ilya Simanovsky for the book "Venedikt Erofeev: outsider."

“Venedikt Erofeev: Outsider” - the first biography of Venedikt Erofeev (1938–1990). Its authors first interviewed several dozens of people who knew the writer, the publication included never previously published archival materials and photographs. In parallel of the history of the life of Venedikt Erofeev in the book, the “Biography” of Benes unfolds - a detailed analysis of his trip from Moscow to Petushka.
The second prize was awarded to Gregory for the minister for the novel “Days of Savely”, the third prize - Guzel Yakhina for the novel “My Children”.
The same book defeated the results of a reader voting, the second and third places in which the “Days of Saveliy” and the novel by Evgeny Vodolazkin “Brisben” took.
The prize for contribution to literature was awarded to the writer, poet and screenwriter Valery Popov. The laureate of the “_liteblog” award, which is awarded to the best book blogger, writing about modern Russian literature, was a literary critic from Tver Maria Lebedeva.
The National Literary Prize "Big Book" was established in 2005 by the Center for Support for Russian Literature. Family and documentary works in Russian or in the author’s translation into Russian are put forward for the prize. There are no restrictions for participants in the competition by age, citizenship, place of residence.
Money equivalent of the first award - 3 million rubles, the second - 1.5 million rubles, the third award - 1 million rubles.
