Russians consider the minimum income of 50 thousand rubles fair and require the state to reduce the gap between the poor and rich

More than a third (35%) of Russians believe that the size of a fair minimum of income for a working person should be above 50 thousand rubles. This conclusion was reached by experts of the Public Chamber following the study "Social inequality in modern Russian society and ways to overcome it", which is quoted by RIA "Novosti" . A little less (31%) was called a fair income the amount of 40-50 thousand rubles, 20%-30-40 thousand rubles, 10%-21-30 thousand rubles.

60% of respondents said that they are most often faced with inequality and injustice due to the difference in income. 49% voted for access to quality medical services , 38% - for territorial inequality. At the same time, only 8% of respondents experience inequality in access to cultural benefits, 11% for a favorable environmental environment. The inability to ensure personal safety and the safety of loved ones complained 13%.

97% of the survey participants associate the main hopes for reducing inequality in society with additional efforts of the state, 91% believe that this will contribute to a decrease in “demonstrative consumption”, 80% voted for the social responsibility of the business, 71% - for the role of non -profit organizations and activists.

90% of the participants in the study agreed that the state should level an excessive difference in people's income. But with the fact that the gap between the poor and rich is a prerequisite for the prosperity of the country, more than half of the respondents did not agree. Earlier, the ex-minister of labor and employment of the population of the Russian Federation, Pavel Kudyukin, said that the living wage in the Russian Federation is underestimated , and the reluctance of the authorities, who is profitable to leave Russia to the country of cheap labor, prevents it from raising it.
