But from 2020, the amount will decrease to 200 euros in accordance with the Agreement on the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The Ministry of Finance proposes to reduce the threshold faster - to 100 euros from July 2020, from 2021 - to 50 euros to 20 euros in 2022.

Russian Internet retailers are interested in reducing the threshold. The Association of Internet trade companies (Akit) proposed introducing VAT with foreign Internet trade. Earlier, the Central Bank warned that Russian online retailers bring infrastructure abroad and trade from the border territories without customs clearance.
