In Russia, athletes are just state employees

On Monday, the international sports bureaucracy once again capitulated to Russia. The head of WADA Sir Craig Reidy announced that Russia, as a country, will be excluded by four years of all international competitions, but at the same time those athletes who were part of the Russian giant doping machine will be able to take part in competitions if they prove their cleanliness.

This decision of WADA caused indignation.

So, a WADA member of the Paralympics Victoria Anggar called the decision “mockery of the system” and “spineless”. Bob Keler, the head of Global Athletes, said that the decision "undermines the confidence in WADA."

It caused indignation in Russia, but on the other hand. Sports officials began to explain to the Russian population that all these are the evil machinations of the West. In this regard, it is necessary to bring some clarity to the question of what a Russian athlete is. Namely, a Russian athlete is a civil servant.

He is part of the giant state corporation, under the conditional name "state sports", which exists exactly then why the rest of the Russian state corporations exist. Namely, to suck budget money, which the corporation’s management lives well and beautifully.

All these state corporations, including our conditional "state sports", have no other tasks. All other tasks are PR. A way to justify the sucking of budget money for a good life, or, in extreme cases, a tool for receiving money.

The vast majority of Russian athletes do not earn their living by their activities. All these Universiads, Spartakiads, and even sometimes the Olympics in which they participate, do not pay off and do not bring them income. Their sports are not spectacular. From the point of view of a healthy lifestyle, their existence is also pointless. These athletes do not lead a healthy lifestyle. On the contrary, they lead a destructive lifestyle for health, pumping up doping, and exhausting many hours of training from a very early age interfere with full education and development of intelligence. This is an ugly education - an “amateur” sport that actually exists with the money of the budget and the “pool”, in turn, it became possible thanks to the existence of the international sports bureaucracy - one of the most corrupt and worthless bureaucracy of modern mankind.

The constant expansion of the competition due to immature and uninteresting sports, the Pharisee requirement of the “amateur” status of participants - all this is a sports bureaucracy for itself. But all this simultaneously turns into a gigantic gift to authoritarian regimes that cannot ensure either the development of the economy, a high standard of living, or any high-quality medical services. And they want to compensate these shortcomings at the expense of the state Sports Corporation.

About ten years ago, I sat in the company of lovely girls with a head full of straw, and one of them spoke out in the sense that, they say, Russia had given everyone. "?" “Well, Dima Bilan won the Eurovision Council, and we won everyone in sports.”

As soon as the athlete got the opportunity to pay himself commercially, like Kournikov or Panarin, they stopped fighting for their homeland.

“Fight for the Motherland,” was such an euphemism, to which officials from sports received more and more powers and more and more money to gain the army of their pumped -up Russian chemistry. They sincerely consoled themselves with the words "everyone does it." And they forgot that they really do everything, but in private.

The difference between an American or French athlete who at his own peril and risk eats doping, and between the Russian state doping system is exactly the same that between the private venture fund, which invests and is mistaken, is between the Russian state -owned company, which is invested in a obviously unfinished project in order to replenish the “pool”. As stated in a famous joke: "Everyone is pissing to the pool, but only you do it from the tower."

In order for WADA to turn a blind eye to Russian scripture in the pool, the Kremlin was enough to do one simple thing. Namely, to dismiss all current sports chiefs, to appoint others.

And to provide the WADA at the disposal of the very ill -fated database of the Moscow Anti -Doping Laboratory, which, we recall, has WADA because Rodchenkov, who was running to the United States, provided this database.

All. As we have already said, the international sports bureaucracy is cowardly and corrupt. And I needed any offered to hush up the scandal.
