A day after FBK submitted documents to the Ministry of Justice for exclusion from the register of foreign agents, the fund received a payment from the United States. FBK considers this a provocation. FBK project manager Leonid Volkov announced this on his Facebook.
Payment from Ace Trans Inc. in the amount of $100 was not accepted, since FBK only has a ruble bank account. As Volkov added, FBK previously returned the payment to the Spaniard Roberto Fabio Monda Cardenas, for whom the organization was recognized as a foreign agent. “It’s clear that they don’t want to exclude <...> I’m willing to bet that these are morons from the Ministry of Justice, realizing that according to the procedure they will now inevitably have to remove the status of “foreign agent” from FBK, they decided to make a fuss,” says the project manager .
As the head of the legal department of FBK, Vyacheslav Gimadi, told MBKH Media, the bank offered the organization to open a dollar account, otherwise the money would be returned to the sender.
According to the publication, Florida-based commercial transportation company Ace Trans Inc. founded in March 2017 and owned by Alexander and Tatyana Rebrikov.
