On the morning of Friday, a fire began on a heavy aircraft -wire cruiser "Admiral Kuznetsov, which stood on the repair in Murmansk. According to one version, diesel fuel caught fire during welding. Initially, the ignition area was 20 square meters, but by dinner, despite the efforts of eight fire combustions, it was already 600. The fire that began on the lower deck near the cruiser’s power plant was covered by a whole compartment. By 13.30 Moscow time, the flame was localized. Military personnel with the slightest signs of poisoning with smoke products, or who applied for medical help, are sent to medical institutions. Currently, medical care was provided to 10 military personnel. There is no threat to their health.

The heavy aircraft -asset cruiser Admiral of the Soviet Union of Kuznetsov in April 2018 was transferred to the United Shipbuilding Corporation, where its planned repairs were carried out by specialists of the enterprise.

By the evening of the day, it was known about ten victims who had seen medical help. Nothing threatens their health. The missing officer, captain of the 3rd rank Viktor Izmailov, was also reported. The military department did not comment on this information at the time of publication of the material.

According to the Murmansk news agency Severpost, a panic began during a fire on the ship: “We worked in the energy tank, smelled Gary, began to climb the upper deck, but everything was already in smoke. Nothing is visible from an outstretched arm. I ran to the 15th gathering, there were military guys, they gave me a mask to breathe. Then the smoke got there.

It should be noted that the fire occurred during the repair, to which Admiral Kuznetsov was sent after another accident: on October 30, 2018 he received serious damage when flooding the swem at the Rosneft owned by the shipyard in Roslyakovo. Then, during the withdrawal of the cruiser from the dock after the completion of the repair on the shore, a jump in the tension occurred, pumps stood in the dock, and he sank. One person died, four were injured.

At the same time, a 70-ton crane collapsed onto the deck of Kuznetsov, and the commission of the United Shipbuilding Corporation (OSK) counted 52 damage on the ship. This dock was the only one in the country that could accept the Kuzyu giant, as the cruiser is called in Murmansk. As a result, the aircraft carrier ended up on the Murmansk SRZ-branch of the "Asterisk", its repair, as the head of the OSK Alexei Rakhmanov said, was estimated at 70 million rubles.

In recent years, the work of a 32-year-old cruiser cannot do without serious and rather regular incidents, many of them were associated with hard and emergency landings of military aircraft.

So, on October 18, 2004, the Su-25 -out was lost-due to an unsuccessful landing on the cruiser, his right landing chassis broke down. One of the main causes of the accident was the crew error, and the aircraft in the results had to be written off.

Almost exactly exactly a year later, two emergency landings of Su-33 fighters occurred on the ship: one of the cars fell into the ocean and sank, the second restrained on the deck.

In the fall of 2016, Admiral Kuznetsov was sent to Syria. His first distant campaign in several years (he went from Severomorsk on the Kola Peninsula to the Mediterranean Sea) unsuccessfully: the train of dense black smoke stretched behind a ship for hundreds of meters over the course of his following, which caused the close attention to the cruiser from the “general public” and the international press. Later, the commander of the aircraft carrier Sergei Artamonov said that smoke over Admiral Kuznetsov is normal.

One way or another, having reached the shores of Syria, the cruiser began to carry out a combat mission. According to the head of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov, the deck aircraft "Admiral Kuznetsov" destroyed 1252 objects of terrorists. However, not everything went smoothly. On November 14, 2016, in the Mediterranean Sea, while setting on board the ship, after performing a training flight, the MiG-29K fighter crashed. And on December 5, 2016, when landing on a ship due to a break in the aerofinisher cable (the same reason was indicated as a justification for the Su-33 loss in 2005) was again lost by the Su-33.

Kuznetsov as a whole has a reputation as an extremely unhappy ship: in addition to accidents, there were cases of the death of crew members and several fires on the cruiser.

The first long campaign of the cruiser in 1996 almost was the last due to the breakdown of the energy unit in the stormy Mediterranean Sea: the cruiser miraculously did not throw it onto the rocks. The next time he went to sea only two years later. Then, in August 1998, when taking the fuel of 60 tons of fuel oil, it resulted in the post of firing control, due to the breakthrough of the pipe, the water flooded two of the four anti-aircraft complexes of the "dorm".

In 2000, a sailor died on a ship from a shock. In January 2002, during the repair on the Raid of Severomorsk, the foreman of the 1st article Bobylev died-he was poisoned by carbon monoxide in a fire on board. In October 2003, after the next repair, a fire in the main gas engine occurred at the next repair on the cruiser. August 27, 2006 - a fire again, two sailors were injured.
