For the second time in a day, FBK employees Lyubov Sobol and Georgy Alburov were ordered to pay compensation for damage caused during the protests on August 3. MBH Media writes about this.

The Simonovsky District Court of Moscow recovered a total amount of 1.5 million rubles from Alburov and Sobol in favor of the State Budgetary Institution “Highways”. The court, therefore, partially satisfied the claim from the institution, which demanded to pay them an amount of 3 million rubles.

Representatives of Highways said that additional equipment had to be brought in to ensure security during the protests.

Among the expenses were the cost of fuel, oil, as well as payment to bus drivers, which were provided for use by the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the duration of the action. When asked by the defense about the law that regulates the transfer of buses to the police, the plaintiff’s representative said that they could not refuse the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

In addition, participants in the action in Novopushkinsky Park were charged with damaging the lawn and 443 cotoneaster bushes.

At the same time, the plaintiff’s representative said that lawns were then changed throughout Moscow, including the trampled area, for which money was being demanded. Previously, the Simonovsky court ordered Alburov and Sobol to pay 657 thousand rubles in favor of Mosgortrans for the protests on August 3. The company believed that routes in the center of Moscow were idle due to road closures, although the police did not record a single violation of traffic rules by the participants of the action.

• At the same time, the opposition lost in the claim of the State Budgetary Institution "Automobile Roads" for the recovery of 3.4 million rubles for damage to road infrastructure and in the claim of the Moscow Metro for 53.7 thousand rubles for several employees going to work on their day off. In favor of the Armenia restaurant, the court recovered 241.5 thousand rubles from the organizers of the action, also for the protests on July 27.
