In Moscow, the court canceled the fine for a picket participant with a poster “Garbage Shame on Russia”

The Moscow City Court canceled the fine for Maxim Kondratyev, a participant in the picket near Petrovka, 38, with a poster “Garbage Shame on Russia”. This is reported by his defenders, a lawyer from OVD-Info, Dmitry Zakhvatov, as well as a lawyer, Eva Levenberg.

The judge of the appellate instance established that Kondratyev's actions did not constitute an offense and dismissed the administrative case.

• On October 4, the Tverskoy District Court of Moscow fined Maksim Kondratyev, a correspondent for the Avtozak LIVE telegram channel, 15,000 rubles for participating in a solitary picket near the building of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Moscow. He was found guilty of violating the rules for participation in public events (part 5 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
• On August 5, Kondratiev came out with a poster "Garbage Shame on Russia" to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Moscow at 38 Petrovka, continuing a series of single pickets for the right to peaceful assembly. Police officers detained the Avtozak LIVE participant and took him to the Tverskoy police department.
