The Zelenodolsk City Court of Tatarstan arrested Oleg Burylov, an opponent of the construction of a waste incineration plant in the village of Osinovo near Kazan, for seven days, reports . “Apology of Protest”

He was charged with Article 20.2.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (organizing a mass presence of citizens in public places, resulting in a violation of public order) for allegedly interfering with construction.

An hour and a half later, the court sentenced the man to another seven days of arrest under Article 19.3 of the Administrative Code (disobedience to the police). The term of punishment in two administrative cases is calculated from one moment - in total he will spend seven days in a special detention center.

Burylov was detained on December 16 along with 18 other activists - they lined up as a “human shield” when the police and builders arrived at the tent camp at the construction site. Burylov spent the night at the police station.

Earlier, another activist Andrei Zheleznov was sent to a special detention center for seven days under the article of disobedience to the police (Article 19.3 of the Administrative Code).
