How a girl from the Moscow Region tries to escape from her mother who hits her all her life

On September 6, Zhenya Rodionova, a 15-year-old girl from the Moscow Region, published a post on her Instagram with a request for help. She duplicated this post a few days later in the VKontakte group, which is called “anonymous heiters”. Eugene wrote that she was “in a rather difficult life situation” and she needs the help of a lawyer - since her mother “once again beat” her and now she lives in a rehabilitation center.

“On Monday at 11 in the morning, I turned to the guardianship authorities with a statement to my mother, because on September 6, my mother again caused me harm,” the post said. “The guardianship authorities in my city are clearly not tuned to help me, one of the employees said that“ we do not choose parents ”and“ so what is it, I also beat my daughter ”.”

Night with wide eyes

As Zhenionov Zhionova “Medusa”, her mother, 50-year-old Elena Rodionova from Balashikha, said on September 6, woke up at five o’clock in the morning to gather to work-she is a cashier at the railway station. On the kitchen floor, the woman found a pouring milk near the refrigerator, woke up her daughter, and for ten minutes beat her with a belt with a metal plaque. When Zhenya began to cry and asked to stop, her mother, according to the girl, began to beat her even more, demanding to "shut up". At the disposal of Medusa there are photographs taken three days later: they can see bruises on the girl’s back and legs, as well as clear traces of bruising belt blows.

After that, Zhenya, as she says, had a panic attack-and she realized that her previous dream was “somehow to live with her mother under 18 and run as far as possible” may not be realized. Due to the regular cruel beatings of her mother, Zhenya, according to her, had repeatedly thought about suicide, but convinced herself that this was not a way out. This time, suicidal thoughts began to strengthen: “I seriously felt that, it seems, soon I could no longer dissuade myself from this [to commit suicide] and I just won’t live up to my 18 18.”

From three to ten years old, Zhenya lived with her grandparents in the Penza region. Her mother at that time worked in another city and occasionally visited her daughter. Each visit to the mother, according to the girl, was accompanied by beatings. Grandfather and grandfather could not protect her, because they themselves were afraid of their daughter.

When his wife was seven, grandfather died, and in 2015, when the girl was ten, her mother took her to live in her Tula region, where she worked as a railway cashier. Since then, according to Zhenya, the mother regularly beat her. Often, according to the girl, her mother woke her for this in the middle of the night. Once Eugene put a TV on a timer - and when her mother watched the film, he turned off. Without believing her daughter and deciding that she broke the TV, Rodionova Sr. forced Zhenya to stand in front of her with open eyes all night, the girl claims. The woman herself at this time also did not sleep - she was lying in bed and watched that her daughter did not cloud her eye.

Eugene also recalls how much her mother annoyed that their cat Semyon was running around the apartment at night. Sometimes, according to the girl, when the cat raged, her mother raised Zhenya, screamed and beat her for allowing it. Therefore, often, when the cat had a playful mood, his wife had to not sleep at night and pacify the seeds so that he did not interfere with the mother’s sleep.

Valery Trubin, who used to live with Elena Rodinova, told Medusa that they had spent about four years together since 2011. According to him, Rodionova behaved extremely strictly with her daughter, and he tried to defend the girl from his mother’s attacks. “Once I go home, and Lena will give Zhenyura on the head with all the dope. I was taken aback by this, and pushed her back [Elena], said that she would not dare to beat her daughter, ”Trubin says. Since then, with him, Rodionov has not beaten Zhenonov, he claims. The man admits that he wanted to leave Rodionova many times, but he had a good, trusting relationship with Elena's daughter, and he did not dare to leave their family because of pity for her.

However, in early May 2016, Trubin and Rodionov quarreled again, and he still left the family. Eugene says that one day, after Trubin, Elena decided to scold her 11-year-old daughter for “not high” her tights to dry. Rodionova, according to Zhenya, grabbed a computer cord and beat it with "in all parts of the body on which she hit: shoulders, back, buttocks, legs." A few days later, Rodionova and her daughter came to a cafe to meet Trubin. While her mother went to the toilet, Zhenya showed a man a black bruise on her leg. Trubin tells Medusa that then he decided not to scold Rodionov for the beatings, so that later the mother would not beat Zhenya even more.

But after this incident, Trubin, according to him, out of pity for the girl made up with her mother and returned to her. However, a few days later he could not stand it again and left his family for good.

Beating without harm to health

About two weeks after this incident, a physical examination was held at the Zhenya School - children were checked for pediculosis and skin diseases. According to Zhenya, seeing hematomas and abrasions on the body, which were noticeable even after several weeks, the nurse asked their origin. Eugene admitted that her mother applied them to her.

On the same day, a policeman was summoned to school, and the girl was taken away for a medical examination. A criminal case was opened on Elena Rodionov under Part 1 of Art. 116 of the Criminal Code (“Beating or other violent actions that caused physical pain”) and the investigation began. Within six months, while it lasted, the mother constantly forced the girl to change the testimony, Zhenya claims: “At first I was forced to say that she fell from a bicycle to the reinforcement. Then, when she [mother] realized that Valery Konstantinovich [Trubin] finally abandoned her, forced me to say that he beat me, and also blame him for harassment to me. Allegedly, he touched me for the inside of the hip and showed porn. " Zhenya, according to her, gave the testimony that her mother insisted on - but now he claims that Trubin never beat her and did not harass her.

At the trial, which took place in December 2016, Elena Rodionova did not plead guilty and refused to testify. From the materials of the case (Zhenya handed them out a copy of the "Medusa") it follows that during the pre -investigation verification, Rodionov reported that she had never beaten her daughter and did not even scream at her - only sometimes "raised her voice when she did not obey." The mother said that the fights were inflicted by Trubin; Rodionova also informed the court that Trubin repeatedly beat her.

In the same document there is a conclusion from a psychologist who conducted a diagnosis of Zhenya’s condition to find out whether her Trubin was harassed. The psychologist concluded that “the girl showed a trusting attitude towards her grandmother and friendly to the stepfather”: “She did not show“ attachment ”to her mother,“ there are no experiences about harassment ”.”

The school nurse, who discovered bruises on Zhenya’s body, told the investigation that the girl immediately told her about the beatings that her mother had inflicted - and to the question of the nurse about the cohabitant of her mother replied that he had never molested her. The nurse added that Zhenya was always closed, almost did not communicate with other girls, often missed school, dressed untidy and the same clothes.

And the teacher-psychologist from the gymnasium in which Zhenya studied, told the investigator that the girl approached her in October 2015, gave her poems to read her poems and asked her to advise her of a psychologist. It seemed to the psychologist that these verses of a suicidal orientation. Later, when, due to the passes of her daughter, Rodionov was called to school, her mother said that communication with a psychologist was not required, because she already has friendly relations with his stepfather. Rodionov explained the passes of the daughter of the daughter by the fact that the daughter was sick, but did not explain what exactly. Rodionov’s psychologist seemed “imperious”. She added that grandmother Zhenya called to school and asked to take a guardian from her mother.

As a result, the magistrate judicial section No. 53 of the Yasnogorsk judicial district of the Tula region decided that it was Elena Rodionova who inflicted the beatings of “light gravity” to her daughter. The court concluded that the mother “on the basis of suddenly arising personal hostile relations” inflicted at least seven strokes to her daughter with an unidentified object in the thigh, buttocks and shoulder, which made bruises on the girl’s body - but this did not harm her health. Rodionova assigned a fine of seven thousand rubles.

Due to Rodionova’s statement, the police conducted a pre-investigation verification about the harassment of Trubin to her daughter, the man himself says. However, six months later she was stopped due to the lack of corpus delicti, he emphasizes. Trubin admits that although he was sorry for Zhenya, he no longer intervened in the affairs of the Rodionov family.

In 2017, Rodionova through a court recorded his daughter's paternity on a man named Sergey Tyurin - to oblige him to pay child support for Zhenya. Tyurin on the phone told Medusa that he was not officially married to Elena: “So, only a couple of months met, and she became pregnant [Zhenya].” He never saw his daughter. After the first minute of the conversation, Tyurin handed the phone to the man who introduced himself to Viktor Denisov, Tyurin’s lawyer “on all issues”. The Medusa correspondent learned from him that “neutral” refers to the issue of deprivation of the rights of Rodionova Tyurin - and “has nothing to do with this family [wife and her mother].”

Zhenya leaves the house

According to Zhenya, after the trial, the mother came to the conclusion that she could beat her with impunity - and began to behave even tougher with her child. True, now Rodionova, according to his daughter, was ashamed of people, and they moved first to Tula, and then to Balashikha near Moscow. In a new school, the girl gradually became friends with her classmate Maria and began to tell her about her problems.

Maria Gidai Swedova’s mother confirmed Medusa that, starting from the winter of 2019, as the girlfriend of the girls was strong, Zhenya began to gradually tell her friend that her mother was beating, but asked to keep it a secret, “because it was embarrassed”. Shvedova adds that at first, when her daughter told her about her friend’s problems, she treated this alarmed: “This is someone else's family, the child has adolescence, you never know what a misunderstanding could have arisen with her mother.” However, the daughter continued to regularly tell Shvedova that her friend was beaten at home.

Finally, the woman believed that Zhenya was telling the truth when the girl showed her a correspondence with her mother, "in which her mother waters her so obscenities and so aggressively that you can’t say such a sworn enemy." In addition, Shvedova saw how much Zhenya was scared every time her mother called her.

According to Shvedova, at the beginning of the spring of 2019, she went to the Balashikhinsky custody and said that there is a certain girl “incognito”, which the mother is brutally beaten, and she wants to know how she can help her in this situation. In the guardianship, according to Shvedova, her story reacted skeptically: "Maybe the girl herself is dysfunctional either brings her mother or study poorly." Officials added that in such cases there is only one way out: partially or completely deprive the mother of parental rights. Shvedova told his wife about this, but the girl decided to "to endure until adulthood and run away."

However, three days after September 6, the mother again beat Zhenya again, the girl still fled to the Swedish. Leaving the house, she took things for the first time, two phones donated by her mother, and 55 thousand rubles. Zhenya considered this money with her: according to her, this amount consisted of alimony from her father in a few months and the salary, which she received for working in the summer as a cleaner (almost all the money earned from her, she said, took her mother). Zhenya planned to spend money on a lawyer who would help her deprive her mother of parental rights.

Officers of the guardianship, in which Shvedova brought Zhenya asked her relationship with her mother - and with them, along with Shvedova, they called Elena Rodionova on a speakerphone to report that they were calling her for a conversation. A minute later, the mother called her wife herself: an employee of the guardianship asked the girl to bring the phone to a speakerphone. Rodionova asked why she was called from guardianship. The girl replied that the neighbors could complain about screams from their apartment on September 6. Rodionova, according to Swedov, who was present during the conversation, this assumption of her daughter seemed convincing, and she said that she would talk to her neighbors who "really forever stick their nose."

As a result, guardianship officers promised his wife to talk with her mother and understand the situation. However, as Swedov says when they left the building, "Zhenya shook from the thought that today she will come back to her mother." The girl was afraid that Rodionova would beat her again when she learns about the complaint in the guardianship. Then Shvedova called the hotline of free legal assistance and asked how to ensure the security of the child in such a situation. The lawyer recommended that his wife write a statement about beating the police and was surprised why the guardianship officers did not invite the girl to do this. The Office of Guardianship and Trustees on Balashikha Medusa refused to comment on the Rodionovs.

After Zhenya and Gida Swedov wrote a statement to the police, the girl was sent for a medical examination, where traces of beatings were recorded. After that, his wife was offered to live in the infectious diseases department of the city hospital for the time of proceedings, since there were no free places in the local socio-rehabilitation center for minors. A few weeks later, Zhenya, according to her, wrote to the regional Ministry of Education and told her story. The next day, an employee of the ministry called her and promised that she would come to her guardianship and psychologist. The next day, an employee of the guardianship really came to his wife - and after a couple of days a place in the “horizon” was found for her. She has been living in it since then.

Help "Czech terrorists"

After Zhenya’s home leaving Elena Rodionova, according to the girl, she filed an application with the police. She accused her daughter of taking her things that did not belong to her and demanded that her daughter return them. After that, Zhenya returned both phones to her. Also, according to the girl, her mother called her many times and wrote SMS, threatening and demanding to return home. Zhenya, according to her, is still very afraid of her mother, even being far from her. When Rodionova comes to the rehabilitation center and demands a meeting with her daughter, Eugene is trying to refuse each time, but the center’s employees persuade her to meet her mother.

“On December 19, a court should take place to deprive [mother of parental rights], and I am so scary. I need the maximum publicity of my situation because I can’t return home, ”Zhenya wrote on December 18 in a new post on Instagram. On December 19, a preliminary meeting in the case of the deprivation of parental rights is really listed in the Balashikha Railway Court on December 19 (information about the parties to the process in his card is hidden). The court refused to comment on Medusa.

Gidai Shvedova said that she was ready to take Zhenya to educate. The girl also considers this the best option for herself, because only an 80-year-old grandmother is ready to take her to her from her relatives, but she already hardly cares for herself: “In addition, she will not be able to protect me from her mother, because she is afraid of her until her death.” Viktor Denisov, the girl’s lawyer, to the question of “Medusa”, whether his client was ready to take his daughter to educate, replied that “Sergey [Tyurin] lives in the wilderness, at the hell on the straps in the Penza region, the girl would not want to live there-she should want to live in a big city at this age; In addition, Sergey has his own family. ” Zhenya informed Medusa that she was not against living with her father, although they were practically not familiar.

According to Shvedova, in the fall of 2019, Elena Rodionova wrote a statement to the police to her, in which she said that the members of the Swedesova family were “Czech terrorists on the run” that they were building her daughter, teaching her words “gender” and “sexism”. Shvedova explains the possible nature of these accusations as follows: recently the Swedish family sold a house in Balashikha and bought a plot in another city near Moscow - therefore “on the run”; “Czech terrorists”-due to the fact that the daughter of Shvedova is now studying the Czech language and is going to enter the medical college in the Czech Republic.

Among other things, according to Shvedova, Rodionova accused her of spreading pornography based on the fact that she was signed by VKontakte to a group with LGBT Tematics. Shvedova emphasizes that she never made reposts from this group, and explains her participation in it by the fact that by education she is a psychologist and she is “just wondering what experiences pursue LGBT teenage and their parents.” Nevertheless, she was called to the police to give explanations.

According to Zhenya, her mother constantly writes complaints about employees of all institutions with whom she intersects. In November, Zhenya, accompanied by the teacher, left the shelter to the grocery store and bought sweets, paying her personal card. Девочка говорит, что теперь ее мать боятся в опеке, в школе и даже в полиции: «Каждый день во все эти учреждения поступает как минимум одна жалоба от моей матери и по каждой из них людям приходится отписываться и давать ответ».

Сама Елена Родионова отказалась ответить на вопросы журналиста «Медузы» и бросила трубку. Спустя полминуты она перезвонила и сообщила, что будет судиться из-за того, что корреспондент «Медузы» использовал ее персональные данные, а именно — номер телефона.

Убедить девочку, что мама это святое

Уполномоченный по правам ребенка в Московской области Ксения Мишонова сказала «Медузе», что Женя еще в ноябре написала обращение на ее официальную почту. Вскоре они созвонились и через несколько дней Мишонова встретилась с девочкой. «За три года практики на моем посту я впервые сталкиваюсь с тем, чтобы ребенок настолько категорически настаивал на разлучении с родной матерью», — сказала Мишонова, признав, что вначале ей трудно было поверить, что история Жени правдива. «Конечно, нам захотелось воочию убедиться в тех фактах, которые излагала девочка в своем письме. Я поехала в СРНЦ [социально-реабилитационный центр, где она находится] и беседовала с ней около трех часов. Сначала я хотела убедить девочку, что мама — это святое. Но у девчонки стоит защитная стена, она совсем перестала доверять взрослым».

Детский омбудсмен признала, что почти не видит «ни одного реального шанса помочь этой семье восстановить отношения» и пообещала заявить ходатайство о своем участии в судебном процессе, где «будет действовать в интересах ребенка», отказавшись пояснить, как именно.

После того, как история Жени начала расходиться по соцсетям, на нее обратила внимание депутат Госдумы, член фракции «Единая Россия» Ольга Баталина. Она сообщила «Медузе», что узнала об этом деле утром 18 декабря и уже подключила депутатов Госдумы, представляющих Московскую область, чтобы те связались с опекой и вместе приняли меры для защиты Жени в суде. «Я видела очень разные истории, поэтому для меня важнее всего, чтобы опека в суде не отмолчалась. Бывает ведь, что они приходят в суд формально, раскладывают бумаги и никак себя не ведут. Поскольку интересы девочки в суде будет представлять только опека, поэтому очень важно, чтобы ей было не все равно», — заявила Баталина.

На странице «ВКонтакте» самой Жени, помимо нескольких постов с просьбой о помощи, есть лишь пара записей. Одна из них — это репост от 5 декабря из небольшой группы, в которой состоит девочка: «Она: наверное, опять думает о своих нормальных законах о домашнем насилии. Я: нормальные законы о домашнем насилии мои нормальные законы о домашнем насилии».
