A patient with a heart attack died in the Kamchatka regional hospital, who could not provide effective assistance due to a lack of consumables on December 17. This was reported by the publication "Kam 24".

On December 17, a 71-year-old patient with myocardial infarction was received at the regional vascular center at the regional hospital. He needed an urgent operation, but the doctors failed to provide effective assistance. For the operation, five coronary micro -conductors were required, and only one was found in the hospital.

Micro-conductors entered the hospital the next day-December 18th. During the repeated operation, the patient died.

According to the employees of the center, the application for the acquisition of supplies was submitted in July, and repeated - last week, December 13.

Now the regional Ministry of Health will check the quality of medical care in the regional vascular center, as well as the organization of the procurement process.
